Conclusion
The disadvantages are too many to list. The only real disadvantage is that if a tourist is going to pay you to take them around, they're going for more than just the sights. They want you for your company. And the best part about being with a group of tourists is they all think they know what they want, how they wish to spend their time, what sights they would like to see and how long they can spend in each place. This can sometimes be very frustrating. Also, if the tourist has a tight schedule they might forget to plan out their meals. I have seen this happen more often than not. What I don't like is when the guide is telling them what to eat. That is the tour operator's job. Your job is to lead them through sights, to show them the history and culture and give them a better idea of what is available for them. No one wants to visit a place and have no idea what's available to them there.
